Cornerstone Development Initiatives (CDI) School Allowance

The CDI School Allowance programme is a financial assistance initiative developed to give every child an opportunity to complete their foundational education despite their family circumstances. Under this scheme, $720 is awarded to a primary student and $960 to a secondary student islandwide on a renewable yearly basis. Applicants with a household gross income of less than $2,500 or $500 per capita are eligible* to apply.

*Eligibility will be determined by additional criteria.

Application for the CDI School Allowance programme 2027 is now open until 30 September 2026.

Recipients of the CDI School Allowance programme are also eligible to apply for the CDI OCCA Award, and Youth Mentoring programme.
